"Upon receipt of the Vailixi 3.50 MPC 3000 OS I was pleasantly surprised to find how carefully it was packaged, which is always a good sign!! Installing the OS was reletively easy, mind you a bit fiddly, which is what you would expect installing ROM chips. Turned on the 3000, it loaded up nice and quickly and I thought my name appearing on the screen was also a nice touch (god help someone if it gets stolen!). The first thing I got stuck into was tightening of samples which was a blessing to me, as I could never get into the EditSound screen at the same time as when Iąd press PLAY/START on previous OS. The CopySound function is also a another handy feature - this operating system enhances creativity and also cuts down lengthy processes for sample editing. The 3000 OS as a whole is very easy to use and these further operating system enhancements make it even simpler, therefore I strongly recommend this OS, it's not one to pass up if you're a true chopper at hand!"

In these times of corporate greed, mans inhumanity to man and cheap imitations, Mansell labs stands on the top of the mountain of customer support and an all time creative inovator. Vallixi 3.50 will and already is changing the way music is written on the already sound obliterating MPC3000. The new swing function at more intervals will soon turn drum programming on its head. Creating a new sound in an instant from an existing sound makes life 3000 times easier and wait for it ... you can now edit your samples in real time as your sequence is playing. This takes the sturdiest of all drum machines to a new level. Theres lots of stuff I havent fiddled with yet but with Mansell Labs in the drivers seat you can be assured that the MPC 3000's future is multidimentional. After years of battling to find a reliable scientist to fix my oh so battle scared MPCs I finnally found the man. Fast forward selector to a fat and freeked out future in which we will finally discover the new MPC 3000's operating systems hidden secret weapon: saving the planet from climate meltdown.

"I've had nearly every sequencer/sampler on the market over the years and the 3000 is the one I always come back to. It's elegant and intuitive interface makes me feel like a musician and not just a programmer. Rohan's Vailixi v3.50 OS is another huge step in that direction. It is not an easy to task to improve on the 3000's design. Any improvements need to live up to an incredibly high standard of absolute necessity and rock solid, uncompromising performance. Rohan's work reaches and exceeds those parameters. I don't know how I ever lived without this new functionality. In fact, several of these features have already changed the way I interact with the 3000 and make music as a whole. Hats off Rohan, your dedication to this instrument and to electronic music is an inspiration.
